Come join us for Earth Night at the fair Thursday, July 15th, 2010! The Newton County Soil and Water Conservation District is once again bringing you an entertaining, yet educational experience. On Wednesday beginning at 4:00 PM, the Sheep Barn arena will be transformed into an environmental extravaganza filled with many things to see and do. Let the kids work on a craft while you have your natural resource questions answered by a team of professionals, join us for a special wildlife education program at 6:00 PM by the Big Run Wolf Ranch, or just drop in to see the displays. There will be something for everyone – prizes, too! This is your chance to come to the fair within the fair, with no cost to you, so be sure to mark your calendar and come out for the fun! (New Promoter - Adam Martin)Dirt Bike and Quad Racing July 15, 2010 - 7:00 pm Work for this event will begin with over 300 truckloads of dirt to be used to construct enough jumps and turns to challenge all ages. You will see from Pee Wees to Pro's. This sport is a family event and open to all participates. The show will start with practice sessions to give each rider an opportunity to figure out best lines and angles to enhance their performance. The main event starts at 7:00 pm with action packed, thrills and a lot of laughs from the little riders. Prize money and trophies awarded depending on which class. - Sign up - 3:00 pm

 The Punkin Vine Fair has a tradition of hosting great music, this year is no exception. DJ Miller is a country singer who hails from Monticello, Indiana.
