The Newton County Fair is offering its patrons a rock’em/sock’em kind of excitement! The popularity of the Demolition Derby that traditionally ends the fair inspired the latest event – a Combine Demolition Derby sponsored by Bane Equipment. On Wednesday Evening, July 14th, those machines are going to attempt to harvest each other in smash ‘em up heats. These large pieces of equipment will try to disable the others with strategic hits to cause damage until there is but one combine standing! No matter how many combines enter, the action will be something you don’t want to miss! So be there on July 14th at 8:00 PM to experience this new competition.
